The Dakota Snow Blade is a pusher snowplow designed to remove nearly 6 inches of snow. If the layer is deeper, one should make several passes in the same area. The blade is 36 inches wide, being suitable for cleaning the driveway, sidewalks, or paths over 3 feet.
The Dakota SnoBlade is made of high-density plastic. It has a steel frame with a couple of wheels and a metal handle. The handle is long enough to get the job done without stooping or bending. The holes on the frame are drilled not in parallel, setting the blade at an angle to push snow to the side.
Pros & Cons
The Dakota Blade Snow shovel is heavy (13 pounds), making it possible to move forward on the ground rather than slide on the snow.
If a blade wears down, it’s always possible to buy a replacement.
There is no padding or some kind of insulation on the steel handle to prevent hands from getting cold or the handle from freezing.
It’s not possible to store the tool upright with the handle straight up. You have to lay it down that requires more space or you will have to find something to put the shovel inside.
